This translucent piece is created on the reverse of glass using a photographic transfer process, framed by a gold leaf border with natural oxidation resulting from the creative process. This piece was inspired by my poem, ‘New Beginnings,’ shared below.

New Beginnings
Secrets of our spirit run through the veins
of mother earth
we are her seed
together
growing from the ground
uncurling
by the touch of the sun
I reach for the sky
a limitless place
where my dreams await
