Path

Created on the front surface of glass and sealed with a layer of resin, this piece is accompanied by my poem, ‘Path,’ shared below.

Path

There she stood
life
perfect in every way
beauty in her imperfections
power in her existence
rooted to the earth below
reaching for the heavens above
with
dancing fingers
gentle movements
rhythm
with
breath
flowing from moment to moment
I am lost in her
swirling
around and around
dizzy with emotion
I am blinded by her beauty
only to feel my way
and
when I open my eyes
I am cradled in her arms
with the light of the moon
kissing me softly
