In those quiet moments
when I close my eyes
and let myself drift
I feel you
in everything
in the winds that whisper her secrets
in the branches that reach for the sky
in the roots beneath my feet
and the water
that washes over me
and soothes my soul
I feel you close
I can hear your voice
speak the truths
I sometimes need to hear
you are in my heart
and with me for every breath I take
